Amanda Myers

M.S., CCC-SLP


At Pathways to Communicate, Amanda brings extensive training and experience in the evaluation and treatment of communication disorders. She holds a Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish, and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).


Her clinical background includes focused coursework in developmental delays, articulation disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and social communication skills, preparing her to support clients from early childhood through young adulthood. Amanda specializes in working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, with a strong focus on pediatric populations. She also has experience supporting individuals with apraxia of speech and developing functional social communication skills across the lifespan. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practice and individualized treatment planning to support meaningful, measurable progress toward each client’s goals.


In addition, Amanda offers support to Spanish-speaking clients, drawing on her academic background in Spanish. While not fully fluent, she is able to incorporate basic Spanish support to enhance communication and accessibility during therapy.


Her overall goal is to provide ethical, client-centered, and individualized care in a supportive environment that promotes growth in speech, language, cognition, and executive functioning skills.



Annie Prins

M.S., CF-SLP

Annie Prins is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (CF-SLP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that fosters confidence, connection, and functional communication skills across settings. She has clinical experience working with language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency, voice, literacy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism spectrum disorder, and social communication development.


For pediatric clients, Annie emphasizes a collaborative, team-based approach through parent and caregiver coaching combined with play-based, child-led therapy. Annie is passionate about creating individualized, child-centered therapy plans that support each child’s unique strengths and communication needs.


Annie values building strong relationships with families and understands the importance of providing accessible, high-quality care close to home. Annie is committed to helping children and families feel supported, empowered, and connected to resources within their own community.


Beyond her passion for the speech-language pathology field, Annie enjoys spending time with her family and dog, gardening, raising chickens, painting, and bird-watching.


Comprehensive Training & Credentials

The speech-language pathologists at Pathways to Communicate have undergone rigorous training that encompasses both theoretical knowledge and practical application. This includes hands-on experience in clinical settings, where they have worked with diverse populations facing various communication challenges.

Participation in continuing education and advanced training ensures our therapists stay updated with the latest research and techniques in the field, allowing them to provide the highest quality of care.

Amanda holds a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the leading credentialing organization for speech-language pathologists. This certification authorizes her to bill insurance for services. Additionally, Amanda maintains a Certificate in Cultural Linguistic Diversity, CPR/First Aid certification, and professional insurance to practice in Oregon.
